Habt ihr das eigentlich mal gelesen?
Von Micky Moody:
"In 1976 David Coverdale invited me to the beautiful house he and his wife Julia were staying at in Bavaria. It was located on the shores of Lake Ammersee in the small village of Wartaweil. The idea was to work on songs for his first solo album. Let me tell you, relaxing in such beautiful surroundings during that extremely hot summer was not always conducive to working!
However, we soldiered on and the album 'White Snake' was the result of our efforts. We repeated the exercise six months later for 'Northwinds', though the weather was decidedly colder.
A few months ago I was in the area and decided to visit the place that could be described as the birthplace of the band Whitesnake. I'm pleased to say that it hasn't changed much apart from the absence of the 'Wartaweil Cowboy' and his guitarist friend. Happy days and happy memories!"
