      Gestern Nacht lief noch "When a blind man cries"

      Ja der gute Rory, an den habe ich schlechte Erinnerungen als er Special Guest bei Out in the green in Dinkelsbühl war (1986) Da hat er ein nicht enden wollendes 2,5 stündiges Gitarren Mundharmonika Gedudel abgeliefert. :O :O
      Das war irgendwie zuviel für mich :suff: :suff:

      Rory war ein unfassbar guter Gitarrist, er hatte die Emotion und die Technik - unerreicht!

      Du sprichst mir aus der Seele ... für mich war und ist Rory der Allergrößte zusammen mit Jimi Hendrix, nur eben ganz anders!!!

      Ja die Geschmäcker sind halt verschieden. Ich habe ihn nur einmal erlebt, da war ich dann so genervt, dass ich mich nicht weiter mit dem Kollegen beschäftigt habe.
      Das soll natürlich keine Wertung für Rory darstellen - meine Empfindungen beziehen sich nur auf das eine Konzert, weiter Vergleichsmöglichkeiten habe ich leider nicht.

      der gute alte Rory, von ihm habe ich auch einige Konzerte gesehen und das für mich mit Abstand beste war 1978 in der ehemaligen Kölner Sporthalle, auf der Photo Finish Tour mit Gerry McAvoy und Ted McKenna, ja lang ist es her und es gibt für mich 3 Nummer Einsen die für ihre Musik stehen
